We are Ken, Tom, and Katie Marie – a family that cooks.
Ken
Ken is a semi-retired technology education teacher living in Wisconsin. Ken cooks a variety of gourmet meals for his wife, Peggy. His children noticed a significant increase in the quality of his cooking which occurred immediately after they moved out. Coincidence?
When Ken isn’t cooking or teaching, he’s working on building guitars and furniture.
Ken is also known as Dad and Grandpa in OurFamily.
Tom
Tom is an art educator, photography teacher, and free-lance photographer living in Illinois. He’s a meat and ‘taters cook for his family including wife Wendy and daughters Allyssa and Haley.
When Tom isn’t cooking he is experimenting with photography and graphic design, helping his kids with schoolwork, and enjoying time with his family.
Tom is also known as Son and Brother in OurFamily.
Marie
Marie is a myriad of job titles including administrator, head cook, writer, and web designer. She lives in Michoacán, Mexico. Marie cooks mainly vegetarian meals for her partner, Brian, and visitors to her community.
When Marie isn’t cooking she is designing websites, writing for magazines and blogs, and exploring sustainable food options.
Marie is also known as Daughter and Sister in OurFamily.
